Hey Fam!!
Last week
Elder McQueen and I were out teachin the word of God when we came across a guy who spoke English. He invited us into his house. Turns out he had just
returned from Cali where he had been living and working for the last few years.
Really cool guy. He is the tree hugger type but super cool. haha He
listened to our message and had some good questions but it’s gonna be a few
years before he accepts a baptism date. But what was really different, was that we
taught him in English! It was super weird. I have never taught in English, always
in Spanish. Elder McQueen and I always
talk in English but hearing myself teach in English was funny. It was a cool experience.
Mijael lives down here alone. He has family but they live back in the states. And now he is headed to Mexico to do some car business. Who knows, he might come one day and if he does he will definitely visit!
It is
rough when it feels like the people don’t progress. But that’s when we have to
do all we can to help them and let the Lord do the rest. We just keep looking
forward!!
